Cybergrind

Cybergrind splices grindcore’s blasting speed and brevity with programmed drums, glitchy electronics, samples, and noise, often at tempos no human drummer could match. It took shape around the late 1990s and 2000s with acts like The Berzerker and Genghis Tron, borrowing from breakcore, IDM, and harsh noise. Songs are frequently short, chaotic, and abrasive, splicing digital textures into pulverizing riffs. It is grindcore reimagined for the machine age.
