Biography
The Devin Townsend Band on vancouverilainen progressiivista metallia soittava yhtye Kanadasta. Strapping Young Ladin laulaja/kitaristi Devin Townsend on tunnettu soolourastaan ja ero aikaisempien levyjen ja DTB:n tuotannon välillä on kokonaan eri miehitys. Aikaisemmilla levyllä Devin käytti soittajina mm. Strapping Young Ladin Gene Hoglania ja Jed Simonia, mutta halusi luoda selvän pesäeron näiden kahden yhtyeen välille vuonna 2003 julkaistun Accelerated Evolutionin kohdalla. Devin kokosi uuden miehistön paikallisista demoyhtyeistä, kuten Ten Ways For Sunday, God Awakens Petrified ja Evenlight.
