Biography
Ellende wurde von Lukas Gosch als Solo-Musikprojekt im Ambient-, Atmospheric- und Post-Black-Metal-Bereich in Graz 2011 gegründet. Der Name bezieht sich auf das mittelhochdeutsche Wort ellende bzw. elilenti, welches als „in fremdem Land“ bzw. „fremd, verbannt“ gedeutet wird und sich später in das Wort Elend mit zunehmend negativer Konnotation entwickelte.
