**Dead** is a deathgrind band, from Germany, active 1990 to present.

Dead ist eine deutsche Grindcoreband aus Nürnberg. Dead wurde im Grindcoregenre bekannt, da sie die ersten waren, die langsamen Grindcore spielten. Zuvor war Grindcore unweigerlich mit Geschwindigkeit verbunden. Des Weiteren gilt die Band als Begründer des sogenannten Porngrind.
